The Annual Food Issue is finally here, and boy—was it a lot of work! This year we revolved the whole thing around the theme of “Meet Your Meat,” and covered the best “meat” entrée’s from different restaurants all around the island. This 40-page special issue really came out great, and we’ve had a lot of positive feedback. I had several really great ideas in mind for the cover, but after our planned photo shoot hit technical difficulties and couldn’t happen last minute—I had to throw together a “plan B.” I think it actually came out really great—and definitely jumps off stands and begs to be picked up.
