This week I finished one of the more challenging issues I’ve had to do in a long time: The Fashion Issue. For the last several weeks I’ve been contacting stores to let us use their products, scouting models, scouting makeup artists and stylists, coming up with creative concepts with the photographer, scouting locations and working out deals with the resorts, coordinating everything and executing. Phew! Wouldn’t have been so bad if I had additional people to help, or didn’t have to continue to put out a weekly product on my own. But alas, I prevailed and the issue looks great. Among many, many more. The idea for the shoot was a “Stay-cation” theme focusing on local products, local models and local venues.
