This week our feature was about David Bratzer, a police officer who thinks marijuana and other drugs should be legalized and regulated. Instead of getting TOO “over-the-top” with the marijuana references like most alt weeklies I see—I figured it’d be fun to go a more “retro” route, something like you see Shepard Fairey doing over at Obey. This retro cop is a pretty recognizable image, but with a few tweaks here and there makes a great pop art cover with a new twist. Hopefully you guys and gals dig it as much as I enjoyed making it.
