MauiTime 13.28

This week was a bit stressful due to the holidays, which I’m sure many of you can relate to. We were short staffed with about a third of the employees as normal, and to top it off we had an early press deadline. Welcome to publishing. Everything actually went really smoothly, and in the end I think this cover does great for the subject matter. The feature was an extra-large section of our weekly “News of the Weird,” which is basically short news briefs about strange things from all over the world. This cover is strange, yet very eye-catching, so hopefully it moves a lot of papers.

    Beautiful cover, Chris. Colors, contrast, subject, etc. — I love everything about it!
