Every week after a special issue is a bit of a challenge, and I suppose that’s just one of the many challenges of running a weekly. But this week our subject was about the idea of having local, self sustaining currency in an economy such as the one now. I wanted the cover to have a feel of “money” or a “local currency,” but with a bit of Hawaiian flair. With a bit of a short work week, I think this cover still turned out pretty well.
