This week’s feature is an amazing article written by MauiTime’s own Jacob Shafer about the harrowing story behind Sen. Dan Inouye’s Medal of Honor he received 65 years earlier. The best vintage photo we could find of Sen. Inouye was extremely low-resolution, so in order to use it for our cover i had to work a little “Photoshop magic” to work it out with a cool, new, fresh spin to an old image. Overall, I think this cover came out extremely successful, and I can’t wait to pick it up in print tomorrow. Hope you agree.
